All e-mails are immediately sent for distribution to the list subscribers. The LibraryList is not moderated but monitored by 3 advisors. If someone oversteps the guidelines polite reminders will be sent by one of the advisors. If someone continues to violate the rules, then the advisors will vote. If 2 out of the 3 advisors agree, then the subscriber will be removed from the list permanently.

1. Posts should only deal with topics directly related to the library.
2. No attachments.
3. No classified or commercial advertising.
4. No harassing or disciminatory posts.
5. No posts containing explicit, vulgar, or obscene language.
6. No posts containing unathorized use of copyrighted material.
7. Send replies such as "I agree" directly to the originator of the posting.
8. When posting a reply, quote just the relevant portions.
9. All posts must contain the authors e-mail address and name.
10. No links to websites.
