Paula is the president and co-owner of Down Home Dreams, Inc.; a company which has been a leader in providing educational materials for sewing machine dealers and educating home embroiderers. She and her partner have been doing embroidery and digitizing since early 1995. She has a Bachelor Degree in Elementary Education. She was raised in a family were everyone was always sewing, painting, crafting, and striving to learn more and more; between her mother and grandmothers (who were also both crafty seamstresses), she couldn't help but grow up loving sewing and embroidery. This background in sewing and education has been combined; now she does educational materials for Down Home Dreams and for the Embroidery University. Her greatest pleasures are in creating beautiful heirloom quality embroidery and then using them for clothing for her children.
