After 23 years in the healthcare profession as an RN, I started my own uniform and scrub business. Quickly, I realized that embroidery would greatly enhance my business. As luck would have it, the embroidery side of the business really took off.
I have a BS in both Nursing and Computer Sciences. While in school, I minored in business adminstration. Currently, besides my embroidery and uniform business called Whatever Works, I teach at the local college in the computer sciences division part time.
I find that the technical aspects of computers and embroidery are an exciting and challenging mix. In the 14 years I have been involved in computers and other high tech professional areas, the growth of this arena is staggering. The advancements that are now available only foreshadows the wonders that are to come. I count myself lucky to be even a small part of that future.
