Professional Experience
- 1976-1986 -- During and after completing apprenticeships, provided digitizing and design services for Gunold + Stickma in Germany, as well as in Asia. Consulted with firm's design clients throughout Europe.
- 1986-1991-- Established an embroidery design studio in Atlanta, GA, for Gunold + Stickma. Managed a team of 10 artists/designers. This represents the German firm's first local design presence in the U.S.
- 1992-Present -- Studio Owner of HAUS of CLAUS, Ltd., an independent embroidery design and digitizing practice. Work includes special consultations, unusual applications and artistic design development.
